The school board, administration, staff, and students would like to thank the voters of Capitan Municipal Schools for turning out to the polls on Tuesday, November 4, 2025. The passage of the 2025 General Obligation Bond is a tremendous victory for the students of Capitan Municipal Schools.
The unofficial results of the G.O. Bond election are 553 votes (54.4%) in favor and 463 votes (45.6%) opposed to the measure.
This new G.O. bond will replace a previous bond that is sunsetting, ensuring a continued investment in our schools without increasing the current tax rate. In the coming years, you can expect to see your property tax dollars at work—providing the district with new and renovated facilities that foster safe, healthy, and high-quality learning environments for our children.
Once again, thank you to the voters of Capitan Municipal Schools for your continued support of our schools and the families we serve.
